Customers and partners can also combine AJC’s other service offerings with our smart hands engineers. For example have us receive, configure, test and roll out infrastructure to your or your client sites anywhere in Europe. Especially as we have a UK and Amsterdam warehouse facility providing all of these services.

Our experienced technical staff are competent & accredited with comms room and data centre environments. They have the skills and capability to act on behalf of your business or department with the necessary care and diligence you would expect from one of your own in-house employees.

Our engineers can carry out tasks such as

  • IT audits and remedial recommendations
  • Installation and removal of IT equipment.
  • Racking, stacking and Patching cabinets
  • Equipment power up/down and testing
  • Guided configuration changes and testing
  • End user device provision
  • IT equipment removals and relocation

How does it work? – We agree a scope of works and appoint an engineer or engineers capable of fulfilling those requirements in an agreed timescale. Our PMO function will manage the engagement and liaise with your own appointed contacts throughout the task or project to completion.

Who uses smart hands? – AJC work with end users but also increasingly with existing IT service providers who perhaps need assistance to smooth out the fluctuations in workload without the risk of an expensive bench eroding precious margins.

This knowledge coupled with our first class facilities ensure our customers receive the best possible service and solutions in the market place today. As an experienced IT recycling supplier within all sectors, AJC’s services are perfectly placed to provide its customer’s guidance through this complex market. We provide the entire lifecycle management service through four very easy steps:

PC Disposal - AJC send a detailed report with data erasure certificates for each device processed, ensuring all desktop assets are tracked and disposed of in a compliant and auditable manner.

PC Recycling - Equipment is returned to our operation for data wiping and assessment for any potential residual value to be passed back to the client through its resale.

Hard Drive Destruction (Onsite and Certificated) - Security Cleared (SC) engineers attend your site in our purpose built shredding trucks. They collect the devices placing them in secure containers prior to being shredded to 11 or even 6mm (MOD level) with certification.

Asset Brokerage and Realisation – Depending on the clients requirements, AJC will sell or dispose of any unwanted assets. If agreed, any resale realisation can then be agreed and used to offset future disposal services or even future hardware purchases.

So how do we do this?

Over the years we have built teams of all shapes and sizes. In this time some of those resources have come to work for us full time whilst others are retained or associated. This model therefore provides us with our on-demand capability.

Often, this is when a skilled resource is needed for a short period of a few days to a couple of weeks. Our retained or associates are normally required for longer term projects of 3 months plus. Aside of the smart hands and on demand resources, we then have the ability and track record to build teams from scratch quickly.

How would it work for you?

This model suits both enterprise and consulting firms. As an enterprise you want to maintain your core team for BAU but have the ability to flex up. Imagine being able to draw down the same resource to support change or growth when you need it and give them back when finished.

For the consultancy this is equally effective. No consulting firm wants a large bench when the work is not there. Being able to flex your resource capability up and down protects your margins the demand isn’t there. The best bit is we understand this model as this how we work too!
